Taylormade r9 Driver

When I heard Taylormade were bringing out the new r9 driver, I pondered the question of how many more different combinations/weights/features could they possible add on to the new driver? Well………….now that Its out, they’ve added quite a few. I have to admit, It does look pretty awesome. Im still pondering the question however when will It all end? I mean, how much more can you add to your driver? I guess Its the same situation as razorblades. Just when you think 1 blade Is sufficient, they add an extra one. Last time I heard, they have razors with 5 blades. They’ve probably got them with 10 blades but Ive lost count. Surely It cant continue till Infinity? It’s like world records for sport, surly the body must reach a point where It cant physically go any faster?

Anyway, back to the r9. As I’ve said before, It does look good, and it plays even better. The driver I feel Is a better improvement from the r7. I was never able to hit the r7 drivers well (so instead, I’ve got a taylormade burner driver in the bag). In basic terms, the technology allows you to change the face angle, loft and lie. Being able to change the settings to correct your swing flaws certainly is appealing. The ball certainly does ping off the club.

The thing about being able to change the clubs settings is that a terrible swing becomes flawless. Sure people may Improve their scores but I feel that people will not Improve their actual game. The price of the r9 is a bit excessive. Aus$649 Is quite excessive for everybodies dream golf club. It’s cheaper to go get lessons and learn how to swing the golf club properly than to buy the r9.

Callaway FT-i Driver

Alot of technological scientific crap has gone Into producing this club which In the end, has produced something that Is so over-rated that I can’t even compare It to anything. Where should I start talking about this club. Looking at It, It looks like an absolute joke. Nothing need to be said. Just when the you get over the looks and think It must surely play decent with the value of It, you start to realise what a waste of money buying this product Is. It would have to be the worst sounding club In the world. I would much rather listen to those god awful chickens on “The View”, clucking their heads off than listening to the sound of the golf ball clanging off this driver.

The manufacture claims that this driver is designed to be the worlds straightest driver but to be honest, It’s no more straighter than pretty much any other driver out there. For a new technological driver, there Isn’t really any distanced gained. If anything, distance has been reduced. For the price of the driver, there are plenty of cheaper drivers which are quite frankly better.

Taylormade CBG Max Driver

This would have to be one of the ugliest drivers I have ever seen. However, you can’t complain about results. This driver really flies a long way. The moveable weight technology, just like on the other r7 drivers Is fantastic. This driver ultimately Improves performance no matter how bad your swing Is. By adjusting the weight settings In the club head, the slice becomes a slight draw or the hook turns into a dead straight fairway splitting drive.

Taylormade Burner Driver

This driver definantly leaves a burning impression when you smash the drive. This club launches the ball high and long, with precision accuracy. The club gives you the confidence to smash the ball long, down the fairway. The bullet-shaped club head, with awesome graphic design on the crown gives any golfer the confidence to smash their drives long and accurate. The light 50 gram shaft by fujikura enables a faster swing speed, resulting in further distance. The centre of gravity Is located deep In the club head enabling to launch the ball high. This club also provides maximum forgiveness. Miss-hits seem to just go straight down the fairway.
